the sun shines while Si naps
perhaps dreaming
of life with his new lungs

In Memory of Anne Frank

It was 70 years ago today that Anne Frank, age 13, started her diary about the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. Her first entry read, "I hope I will be able to confide everything to you, as I have never been able to confide in anyone, and I hope you will be a great source of comfort and support."
Anne died in a Nazi concentration camp  in 1945 at age 15.

Si's baseline lung function is 20% after 2 weeks of IVs. This is higher than it's been for awhile and hopefully he can hang on to it......His vitamin D level is down so he needs sunshine, sunshine and
more sunshine!!!!! Good thing the summer season is upon us!
Dan and I will pick him him up later on today. We are finally  starting to feel better too.

Si did a great walk with Dan and I at Wingra Woods. This is always a good way to assess his progress.

Si is starting a painting  of one of his photos ( tea being poured into a teacup) while he is in the hospital  for Dobra Tea.
