Si checked himself into the Hilton about 7:00 for I.V.s
He has frozen indian  dinners, and olives with fava beans
for nourishment for the evening.
He was able to participate in the Art Opening last night  on his birthday  which he really wanted to do. (with the help of prednisone) and had a fabulous time DJing as O2.....90 photographs that he took over 90 days were framed and part of the exhibit.
Dan and I couldn't attend because we caught what Si has been fighting off for 5 days  and the both of us are the sickest we have been in a long time.

NEVER GIVE UP

Si is feeling a little tired today because he has been going non-stop since he has been out of the hospital. I coaxed him to go for a walk in Wingra Woods before he spins records for Wax Wed.
at Dobra Tea tonight. At one point he turned to me while we were walking and said "Should I just give up?" and I replied,
"Should I just give up?"............He then told me that he asked Don the TX coordinator if he was still on the list and Don said, "That there were 2 people ahead of him with his blood type in worse condition then he is."
 I understand Si's frustration and confusion because Don had told him when he decided to put himself on the list in December that, "They had just transplanted 9 people in the past couple of months with his blood type so Si should be at the top  of the list and he wouldn't be surprised if Si was transplanted before the first of the year."
It's May.

The walk was uplifting as always.
Si is not giving up..
Transplant Limbo just gets  to us every now and then.
Especially when Si's boost from the IV drugs starts to decline
after  only 2 weeks .
